Our senior Pastor, Rev. Adam Thornton, is conducting an in-depth research study as part of his Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) project, titled A Relational Model of Discipleship for the Local Church. This project aims to explore the ways in which discipleship is formed, nurtured, and sustained within the context of a local church community. Specifically, the study seeks to examine the pivotal role that relationships play in the discipleship process, assessing how interpersonal connections influence spiritual growth, mentorship, and faith development among church members. Through this research, Pastor Adam hopes to develop a practical and effective model of discipleship that prioritizes relational engagement, fostering deeper connections within the church body and strengthening the overall discipleship experience.
