Born and raised in the Austin area, Katherine studied Communication Design at Texas State University and began her career at a small PR/marketing firm in 2008.

She joined church ministry in 2013 as a graphic designer for a local church, where she served until joining the DS Methodist family as Director of Communications in 2025. She brings 15+ years of experience in graphic design, web design, marketing, and photography.

Katherine enjoys going on adventures with her husband, Jon, and their 3 boys: Sloan, Flynn, and Luca. She spends her (minimal) free time reading and bringing home stray animals.
