Mrs. Fernandez moved to the Dripping Springs area in 2014 where she initially began teaching at Pathways as a 3s teacher and later the Music & Movement teacher. (She still loves to sing and dance!) Mary has a BA from Oglethorpe University and MS from University of North Texas, both in Early Childhood Education. She also has 14 years of experience as a classroom teacher and program director at Parish Episcopal School in Dallas. Needless to say, she enjoys and has a passion for teaching preschool children and believes they deserve to be loved wholeheartedly, nurtured spiritually, challenged appropriately, and taken seriously in their school experience! In addition to her professional experience, she is also wife to husband, Jan (of 25+ years), and mom to 3 awesome kids: Isabel, Evan, and Lily.

Mrs. Driska moved to Dripping Springs in 1993 and began teaching at Pathways in 1995. She has worn a few hats while at Pathways, including Classroom teacher, Summer Camp Director, Science camp teacher, and now Assistant Director. She has thoroughly enjoyed working with all the staff, parents and many children who all hold a place in her heart. She feels blessed to work with an amazing team at Pathways School and loves meeting new families each year. When not at school, Mrs. Driska enjoys exploring new trails with her family to either bike or hike. Basically, she loves spending time in nature with friends and family. She is married to Donald now (39 years) and they have 2 sweet sons and one amazing grandson!
