Immeasurably More: Preparing To Act

Hello Church!

This Sunday, we will be wrapping up our Stewardship Campaign, Immeasurably More. I can’t help but look back at God’s faithfulness to the people called Methodist in Dripping Springs. So many have given generously of their time, talents, and gifts to ensure that there would be a people, a community, for future generations. The ongoing legacy of Dripping Springs Methodist Church has been to keep a tension between honoring who we have been while looking to the future.

In the book of Joshua we find that the people left standing stones on the other side of the Jordan river. The stones served as a reminder to them of where they had been and how God had brought them to the land He promised. Part of our preparation to act is tied to how God has been faithful to us in the past.

I look forward to being with you this Sunday and worship to share and celebrate where God is taking us as we look back to His faithfulness to those that came before.

Grace & Peace,

Rev. Adam Thornton
