Transformed By Christ
Hello Church Family!
This Sunday, we come together to recognize and celebrate the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ, a pivotal moment in His ministry witnessed by Peter, James, and John. On that sacred mountaintop, Jesus’ divine glory was revealed as His face shone like the sun and His clothes became dazzling white. This extraordinary event was not just for His disciples—it holds deep meaning for us today.
The Transfiguration powerfully affirms Jesus’ true identity as the Son of God, confirming that He is not merely a teacher, prophet, or miracle worker, but the very radiance of God's glory. Through this revelation, we are reminded of our own need to see Jesus clearly, not through the lens of others' opinions or our own assumptions, but through the truth of who He really is.
As we reflect on this event, may we open our hearts and minds to encounter Christ in His fullness, allowing His presence to transform us, strengthen our faith, and guide us in obedience to God’s call: “This is my Son, whom I love; listen to Him.” (Matthew 17:5).
Grace and Peace,
