Patty is thankful God has a plan. In 2017, after just a couple of days of retirement, Patty agreed to begin a part-time position at DS Methodist Church as Executive Assistant to Pastor.  In addition, Patty maintains church membership records, assists with financial records, and helps where she is needed.

Patty was blessed with wonderful parents who taught her, at a very early age, about God and His goodness.  When she was a teenager, she had the privilege of helping organize and participate in a Vacation Bible School for children in the Texas border town of Carrizo Springs.  Patty says, “that trip changed my life”.  Since then, she has had a heart for mission work.  While in Houston she served on several medical teams that traveled to Ruidoso, Mexico to administer medical aid. She has served on several administrative committees and as Worship Steward at DSMC, Emmaus, and Kairos teams.

Patty has been married to Dale Wright for 43 years.  They have two daughters, Marie and Sara, one GRANDson, Kyler, and three dogs.  They have lived in Dripping for 14 years.  For fun she enjoys traveling (especially to Alaska), spending time with friends and family, and sitting on a beach.
